At ScriptTone, we want you to be satisfied with your subscription. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which we offer refunds for our paid plans.

1. Subscription Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting support. When you cancel:

  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period
  • You will not be charged for subsequent billing periods
  • Your account will downgrade to the Free plan at the end of the billing period
  • Generated audio files and project data remain accessible for 30 days

2. Refund Eligibility

We offer refunds under the following conditions:

2.1 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with ScriptTone for any reason, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial subscription purchase. This applies to your first payment only. To request a refund:

  • Contact us at [email protected] with your account email
  • Include your reason for the refund request
  • Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days

2.2 Technical Issues

If you experience significant technical issues that prevent you from using the Service and our support team is unable to resolve them within a reasonable timeframe, you may be eligible for a prorated refund for the unused portion of your subscription.

2.3 Duplicate or Erroneous Charges

If you were charged twice for the same subscription period or charged in error, we will issue a full refund for the duplicate or erroneous charge upon verification.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

We generally do not offer refunds in the following situations:

  • Requests made more than 7 days after the initial purchase
  • Renewal payments (after the first billing cycle)
  • Usage of a significant portion of your monthly word allocation
  • Violations of our Terms of Service resulting in account suspension
  • Change of mind after substantial usage of the Service

4. How Refunds Are Processed

All refunds are processed through Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record. The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

5. Downgrades Instead of Refunds

If you find that your current plan is too expensive or includes more than you need, you can downgrade to a lower-tier plan at any time. The downgrade will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. No partial refunds are provided for downgrades mid-cycle.
